SUPPORT TEAM...
People sometimes ask how they can support and
promote my music. The truth is, there are a lot of
ways you can get the word out about my work.
Here are some promotion ideas for you...
1) The BIGGEST
thing you can do to help promote my music: Simply
tell your friends and family about it! Sometimes
the most trusted music reviews come from our
trusted friends...
2) If you spend
any time on FaceBook, go to my FaceBook music page
and click the
"Like" button (used to be the "Become a Fan"
button). Then post the link to my music page on
your FaceBook profile every once in a while and
tell your friends about my music.
3) Check out
my YouTube video for my
song, "Stars",
and if you like
it, send it to your friends and family and
encourage them to check out more of my music
here at my site. Making a video go "viral" can
really raise awareness of my music!
7)
Tune into Whisperings: Solo Piano Radio
while you're at work.
You can tune in at http://www.solopianoradio.com .
If you have iTunes, just look under the
Radio/Classical genre and you'll see it there. When
people come by and comment on the music, give them
the solopianoradio.com URL. If you REALLY like the
station, sign up for Whisperings PureStream and
support the broadcast.
8)
Of course, you can always host a Neil Patton
concert in
your town, your church, your school, or even in
your home. Contact me and we'll see what we can set
up! Performing live is the best way for me to build
relationships with people.
If you have other ideas to help promote my music,
email me and maybe I'll add it to this list!
Finally, thanks for listening and for all the
encouragement. This music is for you. May it
continue to inspire you and bring you joy!
Gratefully Yours,
Neil
4) If you have your own blog, write a blog about my music and what it means to you. Be sure to include a link back to my web site. You can even write blogs (or "Notes") on your MySpace or FaceBook pages.
5) If you use iTunes, search for "Neil Patton" on the iTunes music store, pull up the details on one of my albums and rate my music. Little things like this can inspire someone to take a chance on my songs.
6) Just like #5, do the same thing on www.cdbaby.com and add some customer reviews to my CD Baby pages. Encourage others to try out the CDs, or even a download.
