Neil Patton is a pianist/keyboardist, singer, songwriter, performer, arranger and producer working in the Eugene/Springfield area of Oregon. His sound ranges from the piano stylings of Elton John, Keith Green and David Lanz to the melodic rock of Journey to the art rock sounds of Kansas, Steve Morse, Alan Parsons and Genesis. He released his debut recording, Horizon in 1998, and his new CD, Impromptu, was released in late 2007.

After taking some time to start a family with his wife, Cathy, Neil has returned to composition, arranging and recording. In 2004 he produced and arranged the CD Eyes On You for Ruth Wood and Friends. In early 2008 he wrapped up work arranging and co-producing the debut CD Send Your Love from Eugene singer/songwriter Jonnie Lauch.

Neil's new release, Impromptu is a collection of original solo piano compositions he has gathered together over the last few years. Currently in-process are two more original projects, including more instrumental music from Neil and Cathy (flute), as well as some new vocal material that will take the style of Horizon in some new directions.

In addition to all this, Neil serves part-time at Emerald Bible Fellowship in Eugene as Pastor of Worship Arts. He also teaches piano privately. For more info regarding Neil's other musical services (weddings, music for events, etc.), visit www.pattonmusic.com. His MySpace page is here.
